Part of a building rehabilitation program designed to repair the building’s structural issues, this living roof, with its membrane leak detection grid that detects and locates roofing leaks, has not only contributed to the resolution of the structural issues, but has also lengthened the lifespan of the roof by 20 to 25 years while at the same time rejuvenating its appearance and providing carbon offsets.
